A man and a woman were killed in a collision with a parked semi truck on southbound Interstate 15 at Miramar Road.
The sedan hit the parked big rig on the right shoulder of the highway as the victims were heading southbound at approximately 11:15 p.m. Friday night.
The victims were apparently going to miss the exit, then veered to the right and hit the truck, according to reports from the scene.
The woman died at the scene while the man died while being transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the deadly accident.
