Deputies arrested three drivers at an overnight DUI checkpoint in Santee, San Diego Sheriff‘s officials reported Sunday.
The checkpoint near the intersection of Carlton Hills Boulevard and Carlton Oaks Drive began at 8:30 p.m. Saturday and ended at 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
About 10 deputies contacted 770 drivers during the operation, impounding four vehicles and issuing seven citations for driver’s without valid licenses, Sgt. Joe Passalacqua of the Santee patrol station said.
