A man was stabbed and seriously injured on Saturday afternoon at the Fallbrook VFW lodge, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
The stabbing occurred at 3:12 p.m. at the building on Old Stage Road north of East Clemmens Lane, Sheriff’s Lt. Ted Greenawald said.
The victim was taken by a North County Fire Protection District ambulance to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, where he was being treated for life-threatening injuries.
No information about the victim’s identity or a possible suspect or motive were immediately available.
