The San Diego Chargers will control their playoff destiny Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, and a win will punch their ticket to the postseason for the second straight season.

Thanks to a miraculous comeback win against the San Francisco 49ers last Saturday, and a loss from the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday, a victory by the Bolts this weekend will give them the No. 6 seed in the American Football Conference for the second year in a row.

The Chargers were in a very similar spot last year, as they needed a win against the Chiefs in the final game of the season at Qualcomm Stadium to secure a playoff spot, and were able to come away with the victory.

This year will be a different story as the Chargers need to steal a win from the Chiefs at the hostile Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

According to NFL.com the Chargers are projected to play the Cincinatti Bengals— projected No. 3 seed in the AFC — in the AFC Wild Card Round.

Last season the Chargers beat the Bengals in the Wild Card Round under first-year coach Mike McCoy, but were defeated by the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round.

Kickoff this Sunday is 10 a.m. on CBS.
