Overview: Energy Fair

Energy experts from local community organizations will be available to answer questions, offer personalized guidance, and assist attendees in signing up for available programs. 

High gas and electric prices getting you down?

In partnership with the San Diego County Library, the city of La Mesa will be hosting a free day of energy-saving fun at its Home Energy Fair on Saturday, March 7.

The event is set for the La Mesa Library (8074 Allison Ave.) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Attendees can better understand where energy originates from and how to lower home energy use, and find programs that will reduce their utility expenses.

The event will feature an array of activities and resources, including:

  • Expert guidance on reading and understanding utility bills
  • Rebates and incentives for home energy upgrades
  • Opportunity drawings for free smart thermostats and LED lightbulbs
  • Giveaways, educational activities, and games for all ages

Energy experts from local community organizations will be available to answer questions, offer personalized guidance, and assist attendees in signing up for available programs. 

Homeowners, renters, and community members of all ages are encouraged to attend.

Admission is free and open to the public; no registration is required, so just drop in.
