President Barack Obama is scheduled to spend Saturday night and Sunday in San Diego, but has no public events scheduled in the area before departing Monday afternoon, the White House announced Wednesday.
The president’s West Coast swing will include a visit to Roseburg, Ore., the site of a shooting last week in which nine people were killed by a gunman at a community college.
He is also scheduled to attend fundraising events in Los Angeles and San Francisco.
