The MiraCosta College Black Student Union announced Wednesday it will host the 6th annual United Black Student Conference.

The conference will include speakers, educational workshops, and entertainment.

Keynote speakers will be Paxton Baker, executive vice president and general manager of Centric, a BET and MTV network targeting African-American and multicultural adults; and Summer Fuller of My Brother’s Keeper Project.

Afternoon entertainment will feature John Givez, The Lyrical Groove and MiraCosta College’s Performance Writers Club.

The event will be held Feb. 26 at the college’s Oceanside Campus at 1 Barnard Drive.
