A commercial truck’s engine caught on fire Tuesday on the Interstate 805 bridge over Mission Valley.
The Aramark truck’s driver, traveling northbound on I-805, pulled over to the right shoulder at around 4 a.m. Tuesday, according to OnScene TV.
The driver didn’t set the brake and the truck, carrying industrial towels, rolled back about 30 feet, almost hitting a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department engine behind it, the video news service said.
No injuries were reported.
