It took firefighters just under an hour Thursday to subdue a fire that damaged a Chula Vista self-storage facility.

The non-injury blaze at the corner of Naples Street and Third Avenue erupted shortly after 1 p.m., according to the Chula Vista Fire Department.

OnScene.TV reported that two storage units were destroyed and up to seven more are damaged.

The cause of the fire and the total monetary losses it caused were under investigation, CVFD Capt. Josh Sanders said.
