Authorities Saturday pulled a man’s body out of the San Luis Rey River not far from the Pacific Ocean.
A bicyclist spotted the body floating in the river just east of Interstate 5 and adjacent to state Route 76 at about 9 a.m., Oceanside Police Sgt. Marco Mendoza said.
Police aren’t yet able to say what caused the death.
The victim has not been identified, Mendoza said.
