A man was shot in a leg Saturday evening in the Lincoln Park area of San Diego, according to police.
It happened at 7:14 p.m. in the 300 block of Gloria Street, San Diego police Officer Robert Heims said. The 20-year-old man was standing on his porch and heard what he thought were fireworks, Heims said.
“He looked down and realized he had been shot in the leg,” said Heims.
The man was taken to a hospital with a wound above his knee, not believed to be life-threatening, Heims said.
