A woman drowned in a hot tub Tuesday night in a Lakeside neighborhood, San Diego Sheriff’s Department officials reported Wednesday.
Sheriff’s deputies sent to a residential area along Lemon Crest Drive near Winter Gardens Boulevard pulled the woman from a community hot tub around 10:30 p.m., Lt. Jim Walker said.
The deputies attempted to revive the woman, but she was pronounced dead at the scene, Walker said. Her name was not immediately released.
The incident remains under investigation.
