A woman on a bicycle suffered serious head injury early Sunday when a hit-and-run motorist struck her at a street intersection in Ocean Beach.
The crash at Sunset Cliffs and West Point Loma boulevards occurred at 1:19 a.m., said San Diego Police officer Frank Cali.
The bicyclist was riding eastbound on West Point Loma Boulevard approaching Sunset Cliffs Boulevard when she and a motorist driving a truck collided with each other, Cali said.
The truck continued going northbound without stopping, he said.
There was no other immediate information.
