With the holiday season in full swing, San Diego can claim another top ranking — fourth best “party city” in America.
Evite, which millions of people use for party invitations, released the ranking on Friday. It’s based on the number of “yes” RSVPs and weekend parties in 39 metro areas over the past 12 months.
San Diego ranked 4th as both a place for “party animals” with 632,947 “yes” RSVPs and for “weekend warriors” with 44,213 weekend parties.
Only Houston, Chicago and Austin ranked higher, in that order.
“As many of us get ready for the busy holiday party season, these top party cities have clearly been training for this moment all year long,” said Victor Cho, chief executive officer of Evite.
