San Diego County residents and business operators who disagree with their property tax assessments for the 2018-19 fiscal year may file an appeal application between July 2 and Nov. 30, it was announced Monday.

David Hall, clerk of the County Assessment Appeals Boards, said applications and information booklets are available at sandiegocounty.gov/cob/aab/index. Residents may also find materials and speak with staff in room 402 of the County Administration Center, 1600 Pacific Highway.
To file an application, taxpayers need their parcel or tax bill number. They also must have their property address, and they must state their opinion of the property’s market value.
Applications must be received by the county Board of Supervisors clerk by 5 p.m. on Nov. 30, or be postmarked by midnight of Nov. 30.
Forms can be mailed to: Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Assessment Appeals, 1600 Pacific Highway, Room 402, San Diego, CA 92101.
