Mayor in New York to Pitch San Diego to Media

Mayor Kevin Faulconer is scheduled to appear on three cable television programs Tuesday in an attempt to attract more jobs and investment to San Diego.

Faulconer is scheduled to appear on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” at 4:15 a.m., the Wall Street Journal Live’s “Lunch Break” at 8:45 a.m. and the “Bottom Line” program at 10:40 a.m. on Bloomberg News.

Faulconer will also be interviewed by The New York Times, CNN Money and Fortune during his trip to New York City.

According to the mayor’s office, Faulconer will tout San Diego’s innovations in biotechnology and cyber security, unique proximity to Mexico and the Pacific Ocean, and its start-up community. He’ll also cast the city as rising as a global hub for business, trade and investment.
