Gov. Jerry Brown reappointed a Coronado woman Monday to the California Commission on Emergency Medical Services, where she has served for two years.
Linda Broyles, 59, is the clinical coordinator at American Medical Response and the continuous quality improvement coordinator under the Regional Cooperative Care Partnership Joint Powers Agreement.
The commission sets standards for training and the scope of practice for EMS personnel, develops and implements EMS systems throughout the state, and prepares for disasters.
Her unpaid position does not require Senate confirmation.
