Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest is conducting onsite interviews and making tentative offers to qualified candidates at a job fair on Thursday.
NAVFAC Southwest is looking to fill 200 positions in the skilled trades of electricians, high voltage electricians, multi-disciplines tradesmen, plumbers, pipefitters, air conditioning equipment mechanics, HVAC mechanics, architect-designers, construction managers, and various engineering disciplines.
Most of the positions are located in public works departments at San Diego, Coronado, Seal Beach, Ventura, China Lake, and Lemoore.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to pass background checks. Vacancies may not be available in every job series at all sites.

Thursday’s job fair takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ocean View Church, 2460 Palm Ave., San Diego.
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command manages the planning, design, construction, contingency engineering, real estate, environmental, and public works support for U.S. Navy shore facilities around the world.
