San Diegans can enjoy a sunny and mild weekend, with no rain likely until late Sunday night, the National Weather Service said.
“A weak ridge aloft today will bring sunny skies and mild weather, before conditions slowly deteriorate next week into another extended period of unsettled weather,” the agency said, adding that it “looks like a great day for outdoor activities.”
Highs Saturday will be 69 to 73 near the coast, 75 inland, 76 in the western valleys, 68 to 73 near the foothills, 55 to 63 in the mountains and 76 to 79 in the deserts.
It will be cooler on Sunday, with increasingly clouds as another Pacific storm approaches.
Rain is likely on Monday and Tuesday, and could be heavy at times, the weather service said.
“This storm has potential for more heavy snowfall at all of our mountain resorts through mid next week,” the agency noted.
