The National Weather Service office in San Diego said thunderstorms are possible throughout the region on Wednesday with an overall 20 percent chance.
” A few showers and thunderstorms are possible today, especially in the mountains and deserts,” the weather service said.
Highs are forecast to be 72 to 77 near the coast, 77 to 82 inland and 79 to 84 in the western valleys. Many areas will experience patchy morning fog or clouds before a partial clearing.
The weather service said any thunderstorms were likely to be isolated and would not cause flash flooding.
