Approaching Pacific Storm Will Bring High Winds and Rough Seas

A Pacific storm system will bring gusty winds and rough seas to the San Diego area beginning Wednesday evening and continuing through early Friday morning.

The National Weather Service office in San Diego is forecasting sustained winds inland of 20-35 mph, with gusts of 60-70 mph in the windiest spots in the mountain passes.

A small craft advisory will be in effect for coastal waters from San Mateo Point near Camp Pendleton to the Mexican border, with gusts up to 40 mph and seas of 7 to 14 feet predicted.
