Another winter storm is on its way to the San Diego region, with rain and snow beginning on Friday morning and continuing into Saturday.
The National Weather Service office in San Diego expects the rain to total less than half an inch, and the snow level to only reach 4,000 feet.
The rain is expected to begin “Friday morning over northern areas and likely not reaching the city of San Diego until Friday afternoon,” according to the weather service.
Highs Friday will be 61 to 66 near the coast. It will be cooler Saturday with highs 57 to 62.
The rain and snow are expected to end Saturday night.
