The National Weather Service office in San Diego canceled a fire weather watch for the region, though gusty winds and low humidity remained in the forecast for Sunday.
The fire weather watch was canceled Saturday afternoon and replaced with a wind advisory that is in effect until 8 p.m. on Sunday.
The forecast for coastal areas calls for mostly sunny conditions with highs of 68 to 73 and northeast winds of 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph. It will be slightly cooler and windier in the inland valleys and foothills.
