A storm brought light rain and drizzle to parts of San Diego on Saturday, as gusty winds offshore caused the National Weather Service to issue a small craft advisory.

Most areas had reported just a trace of rain by 9 a.m. Saturday. Showers were expected primarily along the coast and inland valleys.

The strong winds prompted a small craft advisory starting at 11 a.m. Saturday and continuing until 2 a.m. Sunday.

In the mountains and deserts, sustained winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts of 45 to 55 mph are expected Saturday morning and afternoon,

The surf off San Diego will be elevated through Sunday with sets of 4 to 7 feet, the highest along west-facing beaches.

A dry and warming trend will start Sunday and continue through Wednesday.
