The San Diego area could see light rain beginning Sunday afternoon and continuing through Monday afternoon.
The National Weather Service office in San Diego said cloud cover will increase Sunday as a weak trough of low pressure pulls sub-tropical moisture northward.
This will result in a few light showers, according to the weather service, with the best rainfall chances occurring Sunday Night. There will also be a chance of an isolated thunderstorm.
Most areas will see minimal impact from this event, but roadways could be damp during the Monday morning commute.
Highs Sunday in San Diego will be 70 to 75 near the coast and 79 inland. The chance of rain will increase from 20 percent during the day to 40 percent by night.
