Blossom Music Together will launch its spring session at its Encinitas and 4S Ranch locations on April 4.
Music Together, which has been around since 1987, teaches music and movement to infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
Early in life, music has tremendous power to support children in their growing capacities. Music forges unique connections in the brain, integrating mind, body, and emotions. It enhances a child’s language, cognitive, emotional, social, physical development, as well as their learning habits and dispositions, according to studies.
“Playing and doing music in our rich environment brings out and nurtures children’s inborn capabilities to respond to and make music, even as babies,” said Blossom Music Together’s Director Daveen DiGiacomo. “The program helps develop bonds between parents, siblings, caregivers, and other members of the extended family.”
The spring session runs for 10 weeks.
