It’s going to be a scorcher again this weekend.

Here are some of top events around town that can help cool you down.

World Bodysurfing Championships

A dip in the water is a great way to cool down this weekend. Also this weekend? The annual World Bodysurfing Championships.

Watch more than 400 of the world’s best bodysurfers compete against one another near the Oceanside Pier. The event starts early, at 6:30 a.m., Saturday and goes through Sunday.

The grand champions will be announced Sunday. Admission is free.

Chula Vista HarborFest

Dancing, tacos, food trucks and more dancing. That’s what on tap for the annual Chula Vista Harborfest.

The event features three stages to dance in front of, the Latin Beats, HarborFest Main Stage and Chula Vista Community Stage.

Hungry? There’s the Tacos & Spirits Revolution and Food Truck alley to keep your tummy happy.

HarborFest is free and goes from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Chula Vista Marina Bayside Park.

Mira Mesa Festival of Beers

There’s a reason why locals call it Beera Mesa. With at least 13 breweries in Mira Mesa, it stands to reason to host a beer festival there.

The fourth annual Mira Mesa Festival of Beers will have live music, food vendor and unlimited beer samples with more than 50 beers to choose from.

The event goes from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Mira Mesa Community Park. Tickets range from $35 to $50.

Salsa Under the Stars

What better way to stay cool than to dance under the stars in Seaport Village? You don’t need a partner, just bring your dancing shoes.

Salsa Under the Stars is taking place at the Headquarters at Seaport Village from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday with live music from the Manny Cepeda Orchestra.

The event is free and dance experience is not required.

San Diego Spirits Festival

At the 7th San Diego Spirits Festival, there are only three things you have to know: cocktails, culinary and culture.

Touted as the largest cocktail festival, the event supports craft distillers, local bars and restaurateurs who are passionate San Diego and the West coast’s burgeoning cocktail and culinary scene.

The two-day festival promises unique cocktails, great liquor purveyors and delicious restaurant offerings.

The San Diego Spirits Festival is on Saturday and Sunday at the Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier. Tickets range from $25 to $150.
