Gusty Santa Ana winds buffeted San Diego region again on Friday morning, but will subside by the afternoon.
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for valley and mountain areas until noon, saying sustained northeast to east winds of 15 to 25 miles per hour and gusts of up to 45 mph were likely until then.
A wind advisory means winds strong enough to affect driving conditions are expected. “Driving of high profile vehicles will be hazardous,” the weather service warned.
The forecast calls for a mostly sunny day in the San Diego area with highs 76 to 81 near the coast and 82 to 87 inland.
