The San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency reported 74 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday as vaccinations hit 85.8% of goal.

Out of 8,010 test results received in the past day, 0.9% were positive, and the 14-day rolling average of positive tests remained at 0.8%.

There were no new deaths reported Saturday, and the total since the pandemic began remained at 3,771.

So far 1,803,557 county residents are fully vaccinated, which is 85.8% of the county’s goal. Another 338,961 residents have received their first dose.

Nationwide 149,125,164 people were fully vaccinated as of Saturday, about half the U.S. population, according to Reuters.
