The Lemon Grove School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting Thursday to review applications and select up to eight candidates for a vacancy on the board.

The board will hold final interviews during its regular meeting Nov. 12, giving candidates up to three minutes to state their qualifications and take questions from sitting board members. The chosen candidate will be sworn in following the Nov. 12 meeting.
The board is scheduled to meet at 4 p.m. at the Lemon Grove Library’s community room at 3001 School Lane. Residents can contact Board Secretary Erica Balakian at 619-825-5600 for more information on the board’s vacancy-filling process. The district’s event calendar can be found at lemongrovesd.net.
