A man suffered life-threatening injuries Sunday after another man stabbed him at an East Village transit station.
At about 3:30 p.m., the men, described as Hispanic males, argued at the trolley station at Park Boulevard and Market Street, according to OnScene.TV.
The suspect used a knife, up to seven inches long, and stabbed the victim in the upper torso. He fled on foot, eastbound on Market.
The victim stumbled away and collapsed a block away, at Park and Island Avenue.
San Diego Police officers found him bleeding profusely and started to administer first aid. Medics then sent him to a local hospital.
An officer told OnScene that “it didn’t look good” as far as the victim’s chances of survival.
