A 28-year-old man was stabbed Tuesday morning in an altercation outside a Spring Valley tavern.
Deputies responded around 2:40 a.m. to reports of a fight between two men in a parking lot behind Shooters Cocktails, 10761 Jamacha Blvd., San Diego County sheriff’s Lt. Joel Stranger said.
When they arrived, they found a 28-year-old man who had been stabbed multiple times by an assailant who had fled the scene, Stranger said.
The victim, whose name was withheld was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injuries, which were not believed to be life-threatening, the lieutenant said.
No suspect description was immediately available.
