The FBI and San Diego County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday released surveillance video and photos of an Alpine bank robbery in hopes of capturing the culprit.
About 4 p.m. June 4, a Hispanic male entered the US Bank at 2955 Alpine Blvd. inside an Albertsons grocery store, said Davene Butler of the San Diego FBI office.
“The man approached one bank teller and presented a demand note,” she said. “After receiving a sum of cash from the teller, the robber fled on foot. Surveillance video captured the robber arriving and departing the area in a blue Dodge Ram pick-up truck (mid 2000s).”
Surveillance photos show the robber in a black shirt, black “LA” hat and blue jeans.
