A 34-year-old man was cut on the left arm after he got into an argument with another man on a trolley near Petco Park in downtown San Diego, police reported Monday.
It happened shortly before 5:25 p.m. Sunday on the Green Line trolley heading southeast near Petco Park, according to San Diego Police.
The 34-year-old man was involved in an argument with a man, believed to be in his 20s, when the assailant pulled out a knife and swung it at the older man, cutting him on the left arm, Officer John Buttle said.
The assailant got off the trolley at the Convention Center Station, then the victim got off at the 12th and Imperial stop and notified police, the officer said.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of his injury, which was not believed to be life-threatening, Buttle said.
