An overturned taker spilled 300 gallons of ethanol in front of SDCCU Stadium in Mission Valley on Thursday afternoon.

Hazardous materials crews worked to clean up the spill, and traffic lanes are closed around the intersection of San Diego Mission Road and Mission Village Drive, police reported.

The accident occurred at 3:20 p.m. Police estimated traffic would be impacted for five hours.

The tanker driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
