A midday stabbing at Southcrest Park in San Diego has resulted in the arrest of a 21-year-old man, San Diego police reported.
The stabbing was reported shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday in the 4100 block of Keeler Avenue, according to police.
The 19-year-old male victim and the suspect got into an altercation that led to the teen being stabbed three times in the back, according to police.
The victim fled the scene and called 911; he was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police continued.
The suspect was still at the scene and was taken into custody.
