One of the thieves entered the Planet Fitness on University Drive off Sycamore Avenue on Jan. 7 between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. and cut the lock off a locker before stealing credit cards, cash and a checkbook, according to San Diego County sheriff’s officials. The two women then drove to the Walgreens on Sycamore Avenue in a four-door Mercedes sedan, where they purchased $1,000 worth of Visa gift cards with a stolen credit card.

The first suspect was described as a black woman with long hair weighing around 220 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black, long sleeved shirt and camouflage leggings.

The second suspect was described as a black woman who weighs around 140 pounds and also has long hair. She was last seen wearing a pink top with blue and white leggings.

Anyone with information about the identity or location of the thieves was asked to call the Vista Sheriff’s Station at (760) 940-4551 or San Diego County Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477. Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
