The cause of a fire that broke out at a Lemon Grove residence Sunday afternoon is under investigation, and multiple people living at the home have reportedly been displaced.
The fire was reported in the 3100 block of Buena Vista Avenue, according to Heartland Fire & Rescue. The blaze started on the structure’s second floor around 2:30 p.m., causing heavy damage throughout the building, according to a reporter on scene.
Multiple people were allegedly living at the residence, and all have been displaced; no one was seriously injured in the blaze, the reports continued.
Heartland Fire & Rescue issued a statement shortly after 3 p.m., urging the public to avoid the area for two hours.
