Around 3:35 a.m., a man parked his car in the 10300 block of San Diego Mission Road and walked to his apartment with two friends when another man approached him from behind and leveled a shotgun at him, according to San Diego police Officer Sarah Foster.

The suspect demanded the victim’s car keys, and he handed them over

The suspect, who had been seen loitering in a parking lot near a gold sedan occupied by a woman, fled the scene, Foster said. No arrests have been made, and robbery detectives continued to investigate.
