Around 6 p.m., two men walked into La Mesa Smoke Shop at 7200 El Cajon Blvd. and began a verbal spat, according to San Diego Police Officer Robert Heims. The fight turned physical and one of the men was stabbed in the left side of his chest, Heims said.

The attacker fled the scene. He was described as Chaldean, in his mid 20s, approximately 5’6″ tall, weighing about 130 pounds. He was wearing a baseball hat, gray short sleeve shirt, black shorts and white tennis shoes.
