Authorities reached out to the public Thursday for help in identifying a burglary crew who broke in to a Mount Soledad-area home two months ago and stole more than $250,000 worth of jewelry.
The thieves forced entry through the front door of the house and looted it on June 16, stealing numerous pieces of jewely, many of them large and distinctive, according to San Diego police.
The burglars arrived and fled in a white late-model Nissan Rogue, according to investigators. No detailed descriptions of the bandits were available.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call San Diego County Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477 or contact the agency online at sdcrimestoppers.org.
Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
