A full road closure is scheduled along Fulton Road in San Marcos, between Richland Road and Harwich from Monday, July 2, to Thursday, July 12, according to the city.
Work will take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to accommodate the installation of 75 feet of new sewer pipe and the relining of approximately 500 feet of existing pipe, according to the city.
Traffic delays are anticipated and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during the work period. Standard traffic control measures with advanced warning signs and detours will be in place at all locations.
The work is part of a Vallecitos Water District capital improvement project that will help maintain the integrity of sewer pipelines and sewer flows, according to the city.
