A man robbed a bank on Mira Mesa Saturday, walked off with an undisclosed amount of cash, and prompted a police hunt.
At about 10:45 a.m., a man entered a US Bank in the 9400 block of Mira Mesa, just west of Interstate 15, and presented a demand note to a teller, San Diego Police Sgt. Robert Hawkins said.
The teller complied and handed cash over to the suspect, who then took back the demand note and walked away in an unknown direction.
The man was described as in his 30s, mixed Hispanic and black and with a thin build, Hawkins said. He was said to have been wearing a gray shirt and gray pants with a black cloth over his face.
