A crash in the mountains east of Poway Saturday shut down southbound lanes of state Route 67, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened just after noon on SR-67 south of Scripps Poway Parkway.
At least one person received minor injuries in the crash.
Officers were initially told one car appeared to have struck the side of a mountain, but it was soon determined that two vehicles were involved in the collision.
CHP officers closed southbound SR-67 at 12:19 p.m., and a Sigalert was issued for the road.
Authorities weren’t sure how long the closure would last.
