A 22-year-old man was recuperating from serious injuries Monday after he was struck by a minivan making a left turn Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred at 4:16 p.m. in the 5300 block of College Avenue, San Diego Police Sgt. Edward Zwibel said.
“The motorcyclist was northbound on College Avenue when a southbound minivan driven by a 64-year-old male attempting to make a left turn across traffic struck the motorcycle rider,” Zwibel said. “The motorcyclist suffered a broken pelvis as a result of the collision.”
Zwibel said alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the collision.
San Diego Police Department Traffic division was investigating.
