Everitt Aaron Jameson, 26, is charged with providing “material support or resources to a foreign terrorist organization,” an FBI affidavit states.

The federal investigative agency uncovered the plot via a sting operation involving a pair of undercover agents and a confidential informant.

Jameson reportedly served at Camp Pendleton from June to November 2009, training at the base’s infantry school. He earned a sharpshooter rifle qualification but was discharged after his superiors determined that he had failed to disclose having asthma, according to the affidavit.

Acting “in support of ISIS,” Jameson chose San Francisco’s Pier 39 as a “possible target location, noting that the best place would be a large area,” the court document states.
