A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint in the Morena area on Thanksgiving day, police said Friday.
The Domino’s employee was making a delivery in the 1200 block of Gertrude Street near Viola Street when he was approached by a gun-wielding man who demanded money around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, San Diego Police Officer Dino Delimitros said.
Following the robbery, the suspect got into a waiting dark sedan with two occupants and sped off, Delimitros said.
A detailed description of the suspect was not immediately available, but police said he was black, 5 feet 10 and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.
