A 47-year-old man crossing a street in Lincoln Park was hit by a car and hospitalized Saturday morning, according to San Diego Police.
There was a 29-year-old woman driving a 2012 Chevy Malibu southbound in the 300 block of South 47th Street who hit the pedestrian shortly before 6 a.m., according to the watch commander’s office. The pedestrian was not in a crosswalk when he was hit.
The man, whose identity was not released by police, suffered a broken leg, a cut to the back of his head and abrasions on his arms, police said. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
Alcohol was not involved, according to police.
