A 54-year-old motorcyclist was taken to a hospital Saturday after being hit by a vehicle in Hillcrest, a San Diego Police Department officer said.
The man, whose name was not released, suffered a fractured left femur and fractured left lower leg, said Officer Frank Cali. The accident was reported at around 10:30 a.m.
A man was riding his 2003 Yamaha motorcycle west in the 700 block of University Avenue when an unidentified 76-year-old woman driving a 1997 BMW turned left on Seventh Avenue and struck him, Cali said.
Cali said alcohol is not a factor in the accident. Police did not say whether anyone would face charges, and the case remains under investigation.
