A man shot and wounded a 32-year-old limo driver with a shotgun this Sunday morning in the Mountain View area.

The attack took place at about 2:15 a.m. at the intersection of 40th and Teak streets, SDPD Officer Robert Heims said. A driver was dropping off his passengers when a man walked up to his limo and opened fire with a shotgun. The driver was hit in his left arm and transported to a hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries, Heims said. The man then ran off.

His motivation for the attack was unclear. SDPD gang detectives are investigating, Heims added.
